Biography
Carine Berbain puts curves and charcoal lines at the heart of her artistic work. Her painted works present the human in its simplicity of existence, a veritable exposure of simple emotions. Her sculptures take up this theme in a more abstract way.
Having lived several times in the Pacific and in mainland France, her art is collected in many countries.
Born in Marseille in the 80s, married and mother of three grown-up children, Carine Berbain's exuberant artistic output bears witness to her thirst not to waste a second of existence to love, share, relieve... and create.
Carine Berbain has always enjoyed supporting a wide range of charities, and pays particular attention to her friend Kataï Rey's “Pua Nooing” association in Thailand, which creates schools in rural areas: hope and smiles that are worth more than anything else...
